BEST TIME TO VISIT

The Lake Manyara National PaRK offers fantastic wildlife viewing throughout the year. However, the best times to visit depend on your interests.

December to February: Calving season in the  with many animals.
 
March to May: The rainy season, which brings lush landscapes and fewer tourists.
 
June to October: Dry season, with excellent game viewing as animals gather around water sources.
 
November: The short rains rejuvenate the landscape.

HOW TO GET THERE

Lake Manyara National Park is accessible by road and air.
 
By Road: The park is about a 2-hour drive from Arusha.
 
By Air: There are regular flights from Arusha to the nearby Kuro Airstrip, located within the park.
